We have started to build a new factory building in the “Industrial District of Tuzla” which is the same district where the Tuzla Plant is located.
The new building will have 8300 m² of covered area in 2 floors. The purpose behind the building is to shift all local customers’ products from the Free Zone Area Plant to the new plant as well as to have spare production areas in both of the plants for future expansions. The building will be completed by the mid of 2014.
KONVEYOR took over WOT condenser production machinery from PARKER, Gebze, Turkey, in April 2013; and moved them to the Free Zone Factory.
After completing reconditioning & capacity increasing works, we are planning to start the production within the 3rd quarter of the year.
KONVEYOR has completed the expansion of the Free Zone Factory building as of the end of October 2012.
The covered area has reached to 25 500 m² now.
KONVEYOR is expanding the Free Zone Factory building which is expected to be completed by September 2012.
After the expansion, the manufacturing area there will be reaching to 4x6000 = 24 000 sqm in 4 floors. Adding the existing 2500 sqm of administration + R&D building, total covered area there will be 25 500 sqm.
KONVEYOR has signed a business partnership agreement with HYDRO (Denmark) in February 7, 2012.
The idea behind the agreement is to help customers in their move from copper to aluminium in their heat transfer applications. HYDRO will supply precision-drawn aluminium tubes while KONVEYOR will be handling the fabrication works like bending, beading, swaging and brazing.
